What happens when I exceed my monitor limit?
Your existing monitors keep running. You'll receive a notification when you hit 80% of your limit and a billing adjustment prompt at 100%. No monitors are silently disabled — you always have time to upgrade or remove inactive checks.
Can I switch plans mid-billing cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing period so your current features aren't interrupted. All historical data is preserved regardless of plan changes.
Is there a free trial for Pro and Enterprise?
Pro comes with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required. Enterprise does not have a self-serve trial, but we offer a custom sandbox environment where you can configure monitors and test integrations with our onboarding team before signing.
What does "check interval" mean in practice?
The check interval is the time between consecutive health probes. At 60 seconds, a monitor is checked once per minute. At 10 seconds, it's checked six times per minute. Faster intervals mean shorter detection times but higher API call volume. All checks originate from our Amsterdam edge node.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or startups?
Yes — registered Dutch and EU nonprofits receive 50% off Pro and Enterprise. Early-stage startups (under 2 years, under €1M in funding) qualify for 30% off Pro. Email pricing@statusbewaker.nl with proof of status and we'll apply the discount within one business day.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept iDEAL, SEPA direct debit, credit card (Visa, Mastercard), and bank transfer for annual Enterprise contracts. All invoices include BTW and are issued in euros. Annual billing saves 17% on Pro and Enterprise.
